Would this be a good design ?

I'm thinking about getting my 98 GT painted black, having some '03 cobra rims painted black, and getting new tail lights, and having all the emblems taken off, and just having an SVT emblem on my trunk. Honestly, would this look ugly ?

Black rims sound cool....But why do you have a SVT emblem on the back when you have a GT?

There's someone in our club w/ THE EXACT SAME SETUP (except the badges thing) and I think it looks like crap...Maybe, and I mean maybe the only way it won't look rice is if you go black 18" saleens..

Oh yeah, wtf? SVT emblems...If you swap a 4v in there, a new suspension, and some brake work, yeah, ok...go for it

Otherwise leave the GT symbol on there...... MD is running 12.4 in his GT, the Gt symbol seems to be good enough for him?

oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I'm having a new engine dropped in there, I wanted to add the SVT emblem cause I felt like it.

Im with everyone else here, DONT put a SVT emblem on there. Some ricer is going to race you some day and win and tell all his friends that he just beat a cobra when all he did was beat a 98 GT. I like black rims on black cars, but I dont think the SVT's would look good, id say get some black bullitts with a chrome/polished lip.

if you want the SVT emblem on your car...do it, it's your car, make people think it is a SVT. I think the set-up will look okay, but it's your car, I know you're looking for opinions, but do what you think will look good.

Is the new engine a Cobra engine? If so then the SVT badge will be fine...but if not then I say keep the GT badges

I dont fear getting beaten by a ricer cause rice is for eating, besides, so what if he beat me ? He'll tell his friends that he beat a cobra, then they'll try it and get killed. Besides this is my project car until 2006-07 when the cobras with the new body style comes out.
