I ordered my 3 piece kit from late model restoration recently and got it installed last night - it looks sweet!
However, I did run into a little problem. When putting the bumper cover piece on, the right push pin (black plastic thing) decided to slightly crack the fiberglass underneath the bumper and trim piece where the hole is. I heard the noise it made, and see the crack coming from the hole area toward the engine, but it otherwise seems solid when i wiggle it. Is that something I need to worry about degrading over time?
I tried to pull the plastic pin back out, but its really in there; I guess the pressure of the bottom parts expanding were too much for the fiberglass.
Is this something I should just leave if it seems solid right now, or should I drill out the plastic push pin and repair the area? If so, how would I repair it? Thanks.
Think for a sec! What would Optimus Prime do in your situation. I would just leave it if it's not noticeable or it doesn't have any negative effect on the grille.

I looked at it with better light today - it is only noticeable when the hood is up and you are looking straight down at the area. Other than that - when the hood is down - its completely hidden...
