Hello All,
I ordered my 3 piece kit from late model restoration recently and got it installed last night - it looks sweet! :D
However, I did run into a little problem. When putting the bumper cover piece on, the right push pin (black plastic thing) decided to slightly crack the fiberglass underneath the bumper and trim piece where the hole is. [:@] I heard the noise it made, and see the crack coming from the hole area toward the engine, but it otherwise seems solid when i wiggle it. Is that something I need to worry about degrading over time?
I tried to pull the plastic pin back out, but its really in there; I guess the pressure of the bottom parts expanding were too much for the fiberglass.
Is this something I should just leave if it seems solid right now, or should I drill out the plastic push pin and repair the area? If so, how would I repair it? Thanks. ;)
