Default LOWERING SPRINGS

I was wondering what most people do with lowering springs...2" drop?? more? less?....i found a kit from MAXSPEED on ebay for about $80 with shipping that has a 1.8" drop in the rear and a 2" drop in the front....are those any good?? i dont really want to spend 200 - 300 on eibachs or steedas....are the "not popular" brands any good???

I've heard good things about Roush springs. Not too much of a drop. I eventually plan on those, cause I don't want speedbumps to be an issue.

trust me, they do drop it plenty. its 1.5 up front and i think .7 in the back..i could be wrong on the back. and if you take the rubber isolators off in the front it will be even better. i would go roush springs. they are probably the chepest springs you can find that still have a really good quality. oh and why would you want to drop the back more than the front[&:] id stay away from $80 springs..thats just me though

call me crazy, but as long as you know the spring rates are good, why not go with cheap coils? they can't be that hard to make.

You could always just replace the shocks and struts at the same time that you swap out the springs. You may not need to, but at some point you will, so I would just do it all at once. And if you drop it more than 1.5" you will need to get CC plates too.
