Just a heads up, glad this post poped back up or I would have forgotten to tell everyone.

There is a difference between the 05/06 and 07 kits.  The difference is a seperate coolant pipe and the clamps for it.  Aside from that everything is the same ( how do I know you ask ..... I have the new pipes :P ...  lets not get into how .....)

Yeah sorry, my bad, your username didn't register, it was late LOL. The kit's I have in stock are for the 05-06 (early 06). I just checked with Turbonetics, the 07 piping isn't due for 60 days yet.

In regards to the SCT, I can definitely work something out for you... I just don't have pricing at the moment

Turbonetics released the 07 Kit so now we have full coverage 05-07 Mustang GT Turbo Kits

http://www.turbo-kits.com/mustang_turbo_kits.html

Turbonetics R&D team has conquered the complex Ford ECU on the Mustang to deliver forced induction unlike any other system offered on the market today. Our engineers overcame the complex fly-by-wire throttle control to allow our turbocharger system to bring power early in the rpm range, yet drive like stock. With no hesitations, herky-jerky low rpm starts, or partial throttle cruising hiccups that you will find on other supercharger and turbo kits, this system gives you complete control over your high spirited ride. Plus with no supercharger belt to drive, you will have an extra 40 HP to put to the wheels since the turbocharger harnesses the engines exhaust gases to make power. Not to mention that fuel economy is better with turbochargers than other forced induction types because you control the boost with your right foot. The power is there right when you want it, and is not always sapping power and fuel efficiency like an rpm dependent/belt driven supercharger.

Talk about a revolution, this turbo system will change everything you think domestic power should be. Turning a good factory vehicle into a great one, the Turbonetics system features stainless exhaust plumbing and black-chrome aluminum intercooler piping. This kit looks as good as it performs. Rated to make 550 HP*, the Turbonetics system brings more than a feeling of nostalgia when you get behind the wheel.

ECU RE-TUNE:
ECU uploaded with custom tune
No wires to cut, splice or connect
Retains all factory accessories and sensors

Ok so it has been a while since I have been on the board I know, dosnt work just suck.....

Anyway I have the 07+ kit for the Mustang well really the 05/06 with all the extra stuff to make the kit work on the 2007.  My kit will be getting installed hopefully in the next 3 weeks here while the car has no shows planned out.

Once installed I'll of course deliver loads of pictures and performance numbers.  The kit is going to be installed by Springfield Motorsports in Springfield VA.

Just as a comment on Jesse and the rest of his team, I have been dealing with Jesse for parts now since he joined as a sponsor of the site and I will continue.  Those who truely know me know how choosy I am about who I deal with when it comes to my car.

Jesse has what I have found to be some of the best prices around, and for those who do not know he can get a ton of parts that are not listed on the site.  Several of the items I have gotten from Jesse include my coilovers, sway bars, gauges, and turbo timer.  Not to mention of course the turbo kit. Some of what I like in dealing with Jesse unlike others, including some of the site sponsors, (sorry guys I promise .. no names) is the fast replies and the updates.  I would have to say his team has some of the best communication and customer service skills in the industry.

As for the kit, I have seen Turbonetics kits in action before and helped to install 2 on 350Zs they are great quality, they have always been known for great turbos and they bring that same level of excelence to their kits.  A note to that quality, alot of people question their kit, but consider they got it out late to better tune and QA the test mule for the kit.  Turbonetics is also an amazing company to deal with when it comes to support and customer service.  My story there is that I ordered the kit as soon as it was available, mainly because I saw it at SEMA, liked it and spoke with the reps there that said it would work fine for my 07. Well as we know that now not to be true, 2 months ago when they relased this information and I had a 05/06 kit sitting there with Jesse I called Turbonetics and they were kind enough to ship me the changed parts to make it work with my 07.  I guess I could have waited since I never got time to install it because well things come up but the fact is they realized it was their error, never gave me a hard time and did not charge me a cent for the parts or shipping.  How many top level manufacturing companies would do the same.

So as it is I am completly satisfied with my service from Jesse and Turbonetics who will both be recieving return business from me :)  Keep it up man.

      Matt B.

Turbonetics lists the kit as being for the manual because they have not tested in on a automatic transmission.  From all I have spoken with on the subject and reviewed the install process with it seem there should be no issue with fit on the tune.  In which I would share that you really do not want to stick with a premade tune anyway because every car is different.

Once I get to installing mine I will share any issues if any I run into during the install, tuning and runing of the kit on my 07 Auto.

      Hey nem,

Turbonetics is making a change to the intake pipe and the piping around the coolant set up on the 07. Other than that it's the same kit. Auto or Manual does not change fitment, only tuning, but with SCT tuners easily accessible coast to coast, not a big issue.

Can't wait to see how mattblasi's ride turns out. The car is absolutely beautiful right now and soon it will have the GO to back up the SHOW! Great job Matt.

I hope I have enough coming in on this order. I have a feeling they are going to sell out fast...

one issue i see  is the exhaust Y-pipe crossing over the trans pan on the auto. I was looking underneath my car and the exhaust is just about flush with the Y-pipe and might touch the trans pan. also the reversed Y to the exhaust going over the other Y- pipe will be tight due to the trans pan. I have 2.5 inches from the cat to the pan. TIGHT!!!
dunno maybe matt has more info on this. I wish i had the Y-pipe. LOL!
I spoke with Steve @ turbonetics and he said they put down 457hp and 497tq
      full boost @ 3200rpm 8psi.

I started looking at the install instructions once again that Steve Lim from turbonetics emailed me. I'm not trying to be a doubting thomas but i went to a dealership and was looking underneath the manual rans cars and they have a butt load of room where the 3" pipe (figure 161) goes over the Y-pipe where the auto has nothing. The transmission and pan on the autos take up all the room. it might take some fab work but to me it doesnt look like it will just bolt up. Steve Lim told me they havent done any testing with an auto and they dont know if they will which doesnt make any sense .

Yes, i was going to wait and see what matt comes up with. I was hoping maybe we could all try to get turbonetics to make something for the auto's or maybe jesse you could try to work some magic and tell them you have a lot of clients that are auto's. LOL! To me it doesnt make since to market a product for just one type of vehicle. With an auto your always in boost. better for turbos. I jacked my car up yesterday and was looking at the install instructions and ideas for fabrication. Wife thought i was crazy.

      thanks
      Ray
