I was at a light and one rolled up, the guy and his girlfriend were going on and on about how bad it is.
He takes off and I give him a car head start, I reeled him in quick and waved bye bye as I passed. The look on his gilrs face was priceless. I kind of felt bad because he still had the temp plates on it, bet he was thinking twice about his new investment. Got his a$$ ripped up by a P.O.S. 5.0. It was very pretty and nice looking though! Think again, nothing wrong with it, and yes I know he was racing because he broke the tires in the first three. My stang has quite a few mods, I say P.O.S. because it is no new car. Sean37868.7742939815

That is one of my pet peeves.I can't stand liars, and teach my kids the importance of honesty daily. I just thought I would share a kill story, as I posted before if you believe it or not, that is what went down.

Um, Sean isn't lying.
If you guys knew anything about RX8's then you would know about Mazda's offer to buy-back the new RX8's, as they are rolling under 200hp on the dyno's.
I can easily believe Sean mopped up the floor with that RX8. Do some research before you start flapping your lips.

RX8 comes in under 200HP unless it is the 6 speed which has 240ish. On the other hand, one thing rotaries never have been able to do: torque. Piddly torque numbers, not THAT great of HP numbers and a car just a smidge above 3000 pounds. The RX7s WERE badass because they weighed in at close to nothing. Not so the RX8.

RX8's run low 14's stock at the track all day long and run mid 5's 0-60, about the same as a stock mustang. If your car is a "POS" than one would assume its not running well, hence it was safe to say the RX8 shoulda had u if all other things were equal. Im not a ricer by any means, but I watched a Car and Driver show when they flogged one of those, and I was impressed.

KB subframes (welded), lower chassis brace, E303, MSD Digital 6 w/ blaster coil, super conductor wires,Mac headers, Bassani X, straight pipes (no mufflers), Densecharger, 76mm C&L, 65mm TB, Track heat intake w/1" heat spacer, 4.10 R&P, 24# inj. alum. rad, powermaster alt., Tri Ax shifter, 190 LPH fuel pump,Tokico 5 ways, 1.5" drop, CC plates. I probably left some out, but it is late and I am tired. And for the second time, the reason I said P.O.S. was it sure as hell isn't a new 30 G car. Sean37869.0496990741
can't handle a Mustang though
Well, my friend has an rx-8, and I went for a ride with him on some twisty backroads. If you see one there, try and take him. Unless you have some serious suspension work, you will get left quick.

the rx7s were bad to the bone, but the rx8 is nothing remotely impressive as the the rx7 before moving to louisville, i watched a couple run in gulfport and i saw a 14.95 and a 15.23 out of two six speeds. nice cars, bad power to weight ratio. now that its a 2+2, i don't even think it holds a candle to the previous model.. the previous rx7 was a beautiful car
Supposedly from what im hearing, they are coming out with a turboed rx-8 in the near future. Im not sure if my info is accurate, but thats what i heard on some import forums. im sure a turboed rx-8 should be quicker then a rx-7. Besides that the rx-8 arent anything to be impressed about performance wise. But they are great looking and well designed cars.
