Default my brother has lost his mind

he asked me last night if he could build a full custom exhaust for my car. i don't think it will work. he wants to do a single right side exit with 3' pipes into a 3.50' outlet. i told him he is crazy, 3.5' won't even fit under the car, will it. oh yeah, and no mufflers. so for the other guys who know there stuff, this can't work, right?

EDIT: i might let him do it if it is 2.5' into a single 3"

Yes it can, but it will run and sound like crap. 3" is way more than big enough, you would probably be better off with 2.5". But no, don't let him do it.

why? i already have a MAC 3' cat-back and custom 3' mid-pipe. 2.5' would be a step down

Just leave it alone. Like I said, there is no reason to go full 3", you're not producing nearly enough hp to justify such a mod.

just to put in 3" is way to big, when it comes to exh bigger is not always better, if you run to big of ehx you lose hp realy. and it can mess your motor up by not putting a nuff back presser on the motor
