Status: offline I need some advice on rims and tires. I saw a 2007 Mustang Saleen the other day that had 20" tires and rims and was wondering in it would work on my car. I have an 06 GT Mustang with stock suspention with 18's on it. The reason why I like the 20's is because it fills up the wheel wells and therfore I wouldn't see a need to lower the car. Has anyone done this and will I have any wheel rub issues. I know the Sallen has Rouch suspention but it was next to a stock 07 and they both lokked like they stand the same. The Saleen had 20x9 on the front and 20x 10 on the rear. Please advise. Thanks also they were peralli tires 275 x 35 and 275 x 40.

Lower the car and stick with 18's! Putting 20's on a that car should be a crime. All you do is hurt the car in every performance catagory by switching to 20" rims. If you want to put 20's on something, buy an Escalade!

in what way does it hurt car performance and how by putting larger tires? I'm clueless on this aspect and in wheels and tires in general.
