I think its a good thing. It might even help with sales of the new Camry, which I might add is badass. I wouldnt mind having the new 3.5L Camry, 268hp, and it would be great to have mods for this thing.

You know the funny thing is its (the camry) the only car that the production model will be completly made in USA. The Ford Fusion is made in mexico the monte carlo, and the dodge are made in canada

If you take the emblem off any nascar you could never tell what brand car is what. They all look the same, boring. Bomber & Figure 8 is much better. It's sad of me to say this but I would rather watch the Hornit's than nascar.

Materials are shipped to assembly plants in Mexico, the assembled pieces are shipped back into America where the plants build the actual cars.

Im glad another company is getting in on NASCAR. Nore competition and sales for everyone, thats always a plus.

Well this whole future car racing crap is better for nascar anyways it allows for prices of the cars to go down with the standardization of the body, So your right your really not able to tell the diffrence w/out the emblem....I dont know how i feel about toyota coming into nascar. PArt of me says Its a bad thing a foreign car maker in an american sport, but the other part says its a good thing it'll attract some more fans in a diffrent marketing group.

even though i'm notbig into nascar, i dowatch it occasionally. but i really can't watch cars go in an oval for that long. it's more of an endurance race than anything ibelieve.i prefer watching drag racing, gt racing, auto-x, indy 500,andformula d...

anywaysi also believe its a good thing.it allows for more competition and the addition of more fans and viewers.that adds more sales forall the makes that are in nascarand better ratings for the race events. competition is healthy, in the end everyone wins.

NASCAR has become a joke and Toyota's entry to the sport only proves that. It's not about competition anymore. It's about how much money NASCAR can cash out on before the sport goes south. Who makes the chassis now?? NASCAR. Who is issusing out penalty's and reaping the benefits of them? NASCAR. I give it maybe a year or two longer before the public moves on to a more entertaining form of motorsports. Hell at 90 bucks a ticket for the cheap seats, who can afford to even go to the races. The Car of Tommorrow was the worst thing to happen to NASCAR and the poor decision making is not driving down the cost it's driving it up. Roush was a 1 man show for years, but to try and compete he had to bring in Fenway to help out. I have already switched back to NHRA and F-1 as my main form of racing entertainment. NASCAR with all the rules has just gotten boring. Hell I remember when the drivers hated each other and would talk crap before the race, after the race and sometimes they'd air it during the race. Now they're just puppets that drive equally prepared cars around for 500 miles then thank Tide, or Kelloggs for putting them in the seat. Whatever....... What use to make NASCAR great is now gone. Seeing a Ford racing a Chevy has been replaced with seeing a Car race another car with some stickers on it. So Toyota being there is no different. You can't tell the cars apart anyway. And before you say anything about the motors they make about the same power anyway. Just to Toyota teams have always been weak teams. Micheal Waltrip was a bum by himself and with all the money Toyota threw at him still is a bum. The rest have been mid-pack at best for years. No Change there.

Why won't Ford just step up and put a Pro Stock car back in the NHRA. Then we'd have something to really root for.

I don't mind the CarOrTruck or Car Of Tomorrow or whatever.
It's just the wing and air splitter that set me off.
What is Flyin'Brian France trying to do? Get all the kid's with their
coffee can exhaust and $5,000 sticker jobs to buy seats? Come on!
Yes the COTs all look alike. They make the same horse power more or less.
Yes everyone is afraid to say "Darn" or "Shucks" or anything for fear of being
kicked out of the game. I liked it better when the driver's would race for a
trophy made out of a cow pie as fast as they would for $$$$.
Did anyone notice IROC is dead? They had the same cars, same set ups,
and select drivers running around bumping each other out of the way.

Guess they didn't need two of the same thing.
