Congrats Amy.

I don't care what the other guys say in here I love the MBZ dealerships. Their dent guys are the best because Mercedes actually has Quality Control.

Say When Saleen

Go buy a Merc!!

What do you mean by green odo light The '05 Dash Cluster features My Color, which means you can dial it into the color you want. I actually have mine set to green because it matches the radio display. Or am I confused by what you are asking?

My 06 doesn't have Mycolor.

My 06 has MyColor.

Well crap- maybe mine does.

How do I work it??

unclemilti are you one of those guys who doesn't read the manual? That's okay, I'm bad about that too but had plenty of time driving back from Georgia to read every page.

Directions are in there (Ford manual, not Saleen) and it's very easy to change.

Oh please!!! MBZ may be good at removing dents but they dont have QC either. I had a SLK that had so many problems it wasnt even funny. The side airbag panels had to be replaced once a year. The fuel pump went out twice. The list goes on and on... MBZ had quality control before it bought out Chrysler. Since then, the company has grown too large for them to treat their customers nicely. I was even told by the dealership not to buy the car for its quality but just to buy it for the name.

Perhaps as with Ford, service quality is dealer-specific. I have nothing but bad things to say about my last Ford service experience but others on this forum have had very positive ones. Sowaxeman for one and I'm betting he's no pushover.

The MBZ dealer I went to was amazing. And I went to them because they repaired a company car of mine (Jeep Grand Cherokee) 10 years ago and did a fantastic job then as well.

Abbas,

I guess you need to find a better MBZ dealer. You saw what I told you to do with your "E" car in the other thread. Remember this. I'm not saying that to offend you, I'm just more pissed about what you have gone though with your car. I have had good and bad luck with Saleen through the years. I am a former S351 owner. You may not know what that is. Saleen doesn't any longer. I have had better with MBZ and BMW although my loyalty is with Mercedes. Amy is here to tell us about her wonderful experience at a MBZ dealership. sorry Amy. Don't want to hijack.

Amy, congrats again on the service you found for you Mustang at a Daimler dealership. Hilarious. Glad I could be of help and a source of afternoon enjoyment at the expense of all the Benz customers.

Chuck!

I hear you! I have my eye on an E63. My wife has something to say otherwise though. Are you going to pull the trigger on the PJ car?

Congrats! Saw your delivery date of 12-4.

...His only negative comment related to the green odo light, which of course doesn't match anything else on the dash. He's right about that -- anyone out there attempted to change this?...

Ok, I think I must have been smokin' out with dotbomb's friends at the bank the other day 'cuz I just drove my car this morn, and realized Amy was referring to the actual odo NUMBERS display DOH!!! I was spacing and figured it was just the lighting of the guages. Anyway, I don't think this color can be changed unless, like others mentioned, Ford has a switch for it specifically. Mine gets dim when parking/headlights are on, but kinda bright when off. I may look into a resistor to keep it dim all the time.....kinda like me at times
