I have a 2000GT and want to trade my live axle for a Cobra IRS. I ripped the upper control arm mount off my unibody and I'm looking for a quick and easy fix. The IRS system doesn't utilize the upper control arm mounts. I have Granatelli Contol arms with poly-urethane bushings. There's absoluting nothing wrong with any of the parts that would be traded. It would just be cheaper for me to find an IRS. I know Cobra owners swap out their IRS for many reasons, including but not limited to; 100 pounds lighter, more variety of modifications to improve perfomance at a cheaper price, and I've heard that the live axle is better for the drag strip. Any questions let me know. I'd even be willing to throw in some cash.
