Sorry if this gets asked a lot around here.

Whats the widest tire size front and rear I can fit on my 97 cobra ? I heard you can fit 315/35/17's in the rear is that true ? What size rim and backspacing do you need ?

I have read good things about BFG G-force KD and KDW's. I can't really decide on a tire though. I don't plan on driving this car in the rain but there might be a time or two when I might be out or at the track and a storm roll in and I don't want to be all over the place if the road gets a little wet. That said do you think I should go with the KDW's ? This car is my street/strip/cruiser.

I have been looking around at wheels and I really like the 2000 cobra R wheels. I see they only come in 18's. So whats the biggests tire size I can fit in an 18" rim.

Ive got a 94 cobra, so we are both on the same platform. i run 275/40/17 up front and 315/35/17 out back. I dont have any issues in rain, unless my foot gets heavy. As far as the strip is concerned... they are too big and heavy to do any good. Get a set of 15" draglites or prostars with some 275/50/15 drag radials.
