It's raining too hard for pictures, but I will say that it's totally worth the $$$ to lower your car! I had the Eibach Pro-System installed (includes Pro-Springs, and Eibach shocks and struts tuned for their springs) and it made an incredible difference. I also have GT front and rear sway bars. My vert rides a little stiffer (wife noticed right off), and I biffed my Fang chin spoiler the first trip out (dang it!), but it greatly improved my open track times by allowing me to carry far more speed through the corners. Save up, and do the whole system.

Any of you guys who have lowered... are you now scraping bottom when you go over speed bumps and such things??

Yes! Becareful and all is well. But drive over a large speed bump like a 4x4 truck would and you hear sounds you never want to hear again!
I also had two adults in the back and trunk full of gear with a full tank of fuel (I figured almost 600 pounds) and I drug a speed bump hard! use sense and all will be fine! Drive it like a lifted vehicle and you may have problems.

has anyone tried to put GT springs on their car or heard of anyone that has? I thought about just going for the ford racing springs for the GT, obviously the weight diff. between the 4.0 and 4.6 would be different in the front but wasnt sure how off it would be...dont know if i want to be the one to find out it didnt work either....

I like the stance with the vogtland springs you used. Did you change anything else to have it aligned right or just springs? Where did you order from?

the vogtlands required an alignment and camber bolts (26.99 @ orielley)
got them at hotpart.com for 190

the car sits a little diff than the pic on level ground, its a litle lower in the front and the same int ha back on level ground( pic is on a hill)

and i have yet to hit anythign, speed bumps are no problemat all, i have even gone in some really steep parking lots with no scrape! its pretty cool, i expected to scrape on everythign!
