Default 400+ RWHP Can I do it?

I'm looking at spending a good $10,000 on my sixer, but I really only want to do that if I could push at least 400 RWHP. It's a 2002 V6 Auto. Do you guys think it's possible?

Why spend $10,000 on a V6? Well, a few reasons:

1) The car was a gift, and it would break the person's heart if I traded it in for a GT/Cobra.
2) 400 RWHP V6 insurance is cheaper than 400 RWHP Cobra insurance
3) It's badass to have a fast Cobra, but wouldn't it be even more badass to have a V6 equally as fast? Sure, I couldn't say, "Yeah, I've got a Cobra", but I could say "Yeah, my sixer can beat your Cobra."

www.rpm-mustangs.com
4.2L with CNC heads and cam speced for a www.tmaturbo.com turbo kit

$10,000.00 will surpass 400rwhp easily and if done right will get you 600rwhp+

hell you can do it on a stock engine but if you have $10g's to spend then do it right

www.vmptuning.com for your tuning needs

Cant the 3.8 v6's handle more power on the stock block than a GT? I've heard somewhere that the v6 is almost bullet proof, or have I heard false rumors? Sounds like a plan you have there man, hope all works out for you and like Cobra232 said, do it right the first time if your gonna spend the cash.

Before you're done pouring money under the hood, be sure to set some cash aside to upgrade the rear-end too.

The 3.8 is stronger than the 4.6. It is one of the strongest engines out there. It just has lower displacement, there for less power output stock. That has caused people to overlook the 3.8 for power applications. Thanks to the new 6's people are starting to do more with them and see the older 3.8's potential. The 01-04 3.8 is probably the best block to go out due to the fact that all bugs have been worked out and that engine will last forever.

hell yeah you can do it. SSM stage 3 powerpak with boxed upper and www.tmaturbo.com turbo kit should get you close. but you will also need to upgrade the rear-end so it doesn't break and get some suspension work to get the car to hook. 400 hp is useless if you just spin the tires.

If you really want to have a mustang with a good V8, get a Mach 1 or a Cobra. The 4 valve V8s are a lot better than the 2 valve ones in the GTs.

If you upgrade ur car to 400+ just buy cobra emblems and body kits, no one will kno the difference lol, and if they find out, then show em what your "Weak V6" is made of baby!!!! and 3.8 is really strong, dont get a 4.6, my friends got a 98 5.0 and wanted a 00 4.6, but i persuaded him otherwise.
