That's why I never brought it to the track. I'd get one pass and they'd send me packing.

I always wondered what it would run. I'm guessing mid 12's, but with the clutch having one foot in the grave I am not sure. Remember to shift near red line. I had the shift light set a few hundred RPM before it so that with my delayed reactions I'd shift right at red line.

Make sure your first run is real good since it'll probably be your only one. If you spin a lot off the line slow down so you don't get thrown out. That way you can try it again

The reason I opted for the shift light is because when I first got it supercharged, I kept hitting the rev limiter. I wasn't used to a car that pulled harder as it approached red line. I was used to shifting by feel and n/a it was easy to tell when you should hit the next gear. Not so with the Vortech.

Is it because you had no roll bar?

Yes - you need a cage if you run faster than 13 and I was fairly sure it would have done that.
