What are your goals for the car? Drag racing or carving corners?

Saleen Suspension Kit. $650 an you get new shocks, struts, springs, and a front swaybar. Good value and does wonders for suspension.

If your in school and broke I say save your money and stay away from car magazines, car message boards, other fast cars, etc..Just save about 2k and go all out and do it right. But if you really want something now I'd say LCAs, LCA relocation brackets, and maybe a UCA. If you plan to lower get adjustable LCAs or an adj UCA since you are going to need them to adjust your pinion angle. But these three items can be purchased for about $450.

Tokico D-specs or any other reputable shocks and struts
Lowering springs of your choice
Adj LCAs or adj UCA to set your pinion angle after you lower the car
adj panhard bar, your rear end will shift a bit if you lower the car more than 1.25 inches
camber bolts.
an alignment after all the said mod are performed.

I'm not rich by any means either so I just saved and stacked parts as money became available.
