Arno -> 17's (10/30/2006 6:31:32 PM)

What is the largest tire I can put on a 17x9 rim that will fit on the back of a stock 89 LX 5.0? Leaving the quad shock in place.

primetime5.0 -> RE: 17's (10/30/2006 6:36:13 PM)

some fit 275's not problems

Pure5.0 -> RE: 17's (10/30/2006 6:39:26 PM)

275s.....

But take the quads out with some fender rolling and 315s fit.

depends on the wheel, with mine I had to remove the quads to get the 275's to fit

Assuming your rims are equal width what do you plant up front?

primetime5.0 -> RE: 17's (10/30/2006 6:42:53 PM)

245-40-17's

Arno -> RE: 17's (10/30/2006 6:45:42 PM)

Cobra rims with 17X9's in the front also.

primetime5.0 -> RE: 17's (10/30/2006 6:47:49 PM)

should fit 275's out back no problems

Arno -> RE: 17's (10/30/2006 7:47:35 PM)

You have 275's in back and 245's up front? What are the height dementions, 40, 45, 50?

What rims are you running/back spacing? You had to remove the quad shocks? Could you have flipped them? I dont want to loose the quad shocks.
