Yeah, that's a great deal. I just dropped off my car a few days ago to have the 15815 installed. I'm picking it up probably Tuesday. Just a note for anyone with GT valance tailpipe exits--- these kits require tailipe modification since they are made for a standard exit.

How loud are these things?

I'm looking for a sexy throaty sound, not a super loud hot rod sound.

Do these need modifications such as welding to install?

Can I take these to a mechanic to have them installed for me?

What else do I need to complete the whole package?

I've been told they are quieter than Flowmasters and they are a straight through baffless muffler!

No, everything is clamp and bolt on. You may need welding if using header reducers.

Can I take these to a mechanic to have them installed for me?
They are do-it-yourself and come with instructions.

What else do I need to complete the whole package?
Nothing. They even come with polished tips.

I don't know if they'll hook to stock exhaust manifolds. I suppose they would with some modification. I'd call Magnaflow.

According to the Magnaflow site these are designed to work with OEM exhaust manifolds or tubular headers.

I had a clamp/bolt on system at one time. Never again. Get the kit, then take it to a muffler shop to custom fit it to your car. Nothing like welded joints with proper hangers and everything tucked away properly. Are you guys really impressed with that price?
