What speed 2003 Mach 1 tops out at??

Just curious...what speed does it top out at?

I have an "04 Mach 1 and all the test that I have seen said it tops out in about the mid to upper 150's. That is completely stock of course.

I think it depends on whether you are running a manual or automatic tranny as well. I read somewhere that the manual Mach 1 has a higher electronically limited speed rating then the auto Mach 1, but I don't recall the numbers. I also read somewhere that this limit can be overridden with a flash-tuner, but do not hold me to it. Anyone else know?

I have buried the speedo in my 04 Mach. I never found the electronic speed limiter and can't find any where in the Diablo to turn it on or off. I must of had a tire out of balance though because at 135 mph I got a little shimmy but it went away at around 145 mph.

Just be smart about going that fast. I did it on a private road that is roughly 5 miles long and almost perfectly straight. Don't do it if there is even a remote possibillity of another vehicle being on the raodway.

Going over 100 is no recommended on street car, har har.

You must have tuned suspencion and some down force to go that fast and love it. Porsches have it, Saleens have it.
