I just lowered my car yesterday with the Eibach Pro-System. It looks great and handles better too. I know I have to get an alignment, but how many miles is recommended to drive on the new springs before getting it aligned?
well shoot, ide say yesterday, dont quote me though. I HAVE A QUESTION TOO! damn goodyear has a 2 wheel and a 4 wheel alignment. being we have a solid axle in the rear i dont see the point of it, but when i had my 86 i was swindled into the 4-wheel do we need a 4 wheel too or are they just juicin' my credit card?

I remember reading somewhere someone saying to get an alignment about a week later but I don't know how many miles he thinks a week is so that's why I was asking. I also didn't know about the 2 wheel or 4 wheel alignment thing, good question.
There is no way to perform a 4 wheel alignment on a live axle rear end car. You can do a two wheel alignment, where the front wheels are set to factory specs by themselves, or a thrust angle alignment, where the front wheels are set to specs parallel with the rear wheels. A two wheel alignment should be more than adequate for our cars, as long as the steering wheel is centered while performing the alignment.
hey an alignment after a week of having the springs installed. The new springs need sometime to settle. If an alignment is done immediatly done after the install, the camber may change.
