Default Driver side power seat stuck

Hey guys, I was advised to post in this section and not in the general tech section by another member. Anyway, my problem is that the power seat in my 95 mustang has jammed up and is locked in the rearmost position, making it kind of hard to push the gas and brake pedals. The seat still goes up and down, and when I try to make it go back and forth I can see the motor turning and the worm gear move about 1/16th of an inch before it locks up again. I was wondering if anyone else has had a problem similar to this one and could offer any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Terry.

Default RE: Driver side power seat stuck

Seat regulator motor needs to be replaced more than likely.
