Could n e body tell me where the drain plus is located in a 1995 v-6 auto tranny stang? im going to put this fluid in there called "lucas transmission fix" wich sais or claims that will stop slips and hard shifting, could any body please tell me where its locateded at,

Theres a good chance you dont have one and will have to drop the pan.

By the way none of that Tranny additive stuff works. Throw it out.

1 there r like a handful of trannies out there that have drain plugs and they all r pretty much in brand new cars.... they haven't put one in a mustang since.... never did.... 2nd what llyod said that stuff like never works just get the tranny fixed the proper way..

Make sure you have a big drain pan...



take out the front bolts and then the side bolts on your pan.



loosen the rear bolts about 4 turns and let the oil drain for a while.



finish removing the rear bolts and carefully lower the pan (you don't want to spill this all over the place).



pour your old fluid into the drain pan and clean your gasket area to ensure a good fit when putting the pan back up.



While this pan is off, change your trans filter. If that doesn't cure your slipping/hard shifting problems, get the trans serviced.



I too agree that those additives don't work.
