Well for one if you lived in Phoenix then you know of AMP, and ADS. Doug who built AMP's stang to do 8's will be consulted as well as John Thompson from ADS who personally owns a 8 second stang.
Besides, Sideways, your intellegence is shown by what you purchased. A 4.6L P.O.S!!! That setup has nothing on a 5.0.
It shows my intelligence that I have a 4.6 Mustang?  You are a moron!  I bought the car because I liked the way it looked, not because it was fast.  I've had lots of cars...I can't imagine their purchase has anything to do with my intelligence.

And just because you called me the idiot...You spelled intelligence wrong.

If you don't like it, don't read it! We are having some true rivalry here and nothing personal of course. AZ2004, I've built several Mustangs through AMP performance when it was just All Mustang Performance and Recycling. I've known Tom Thompson(the owner for about ten years), his car runs sevens, eights and nines are nothing to him anymore. Cool, glad we hooked up here, I think a race would be awsome, what do you think? I'll get back to you tomaorrow, I'm outa here! Your confidence intrigues me!LOL!!!

Well 5.0 guy I'm glad finally your being somewhat cool. Just keep the girl comments on a minimum cause that is a good way to get under my skin and hers. I've learned that with drag racing it doesnt matter what car you have. I give respect to anyone who takes the time to build a performance engine for their car. I think we would have fun. If you are pushing a lot of boost I'm not saying my STi will beat you. But you got to understand my STi is the test one must take to earn the right to run my fiances stang. I dont want her waisting her time or gas on racing a slouch. Let us know when you are in town, cool? And by the way with my mods my STi should run anywhere from a 12.3 to a 12.8 @ anywhere from 103 to 108. So my STi is a force to be reckoned with!

The best part is my STi isnt even a "Drag Car" in the since of the word. It was made to hand anyone their a** in auto-x. Its just cool that this car can jump between all aspects of racing and give competition where ever it goes. Dont hate that just shows your maturity level and intelligence.

I am not hating, telling you what I see with my many hours spent at Bradenton Motorsports Park.  We have test and tune every Thursday and Saturday night, and out of all the stock STI's,  none have  beat my buddies completely stock Cobra, or any other stock cobra for that matter.  Guess you are one that launches the cobra as you would a 4wd and wonder why it goes nowhere. You said in an earlier post that with ALL your mods, your STI would be running around 12.3-12.8 right??  Let me fill you in here, a stock Cobra will run mid 12's completely stock in the quarter Stupe!!! Surely you know that since "You own one"!!(and I can show you my maturity level.....in your girls a$$)

Where do u get off saying I launch a Cobra??? For one I would never stoop, or for that matter my fiance either, to the level off buying a cobra. You know some of you dream of actually having a fast sub 10sec. car, well my fiance and I live that dream. I only launch my car at 6000 plus rpm cause it can handle it.

I hope that comment was to me? If it was, what dont you believe? You wanna see my dyno plot? I dynoed on a Dyno Dynamics AWD dyno at 280 hp to the wheels and 312ft/lbs. Subaru get about 38% loss of power through the drive train due to AWD. SO if you multiply 280 and 312 by 1.38 you get 392 crank hp and 436 crank torque.

Both cars have their high points, both cars have their following. if you don't like the STi, don't buy one, but why concern yourself with making fun of it? If you don't like Mustangs, don't buy one, but why concern yourself with making fun of it?

Just let it go already. "your car is slow" low 13s aren't slow. Period. I don't care if the 03 Cobra runs 12.8s. "your car can't corner" I don't care if the STi can pull .9x g's, last I checked the 03 Cobra can handle fairly well, low .9x g's, anyone know exactly?

My point is... who gives a f... about someone elses car? Drive what you got, love it.
