Its always good to stiffin your car up! You may be able just to grab one from a junked gt or so.

If you are talking about the aftermarket one that attaches OVER the motor, I don't read many great reviews on it. I thought about one for the convertible, probably would opt for the sway bars instead and see where it is at after that. Having gone from a 99 convertible to the 05 convertible, the 05 is much stiffer and more stable and might not benefit that much from such an addition. The GT does NOT come from the factory with this item. If you plan to install a plenum cover, some of the guys had rubbing from the cover.
