Today, I got home from school, wached my moms minvan and my firend calls me up and says I should cruise down and check out a speed shop where theres a gt500 and a ford gt, hes been naggin' for a while for me to check them out. So I go down, and damn, theres an 03-04 cobra, acura nsx, couple of panteras, ford gt, z28, a hollowed out old gt500, im just in awe, and am glad i went.
Heres where it gets better, my friend needed a ride so im takin him home, and on the left I spot a black srt8 charger, as we are passing I said to my buddy matt to check out the srt8 and I gave a nice rev goin by, bout a quarter mile up the street I look in the rearview mirror and theres the srt8. I say hey matt, that srt8 i revved at, its behind us....
So I get up to a street to make a right and peel out a bit (enough to smoke the tires a little) and he roars up next to me, and is taunting, so i drop to second and take off, and slightly start to pull till I hit third, and sure enough I see his fender coming up on my left, we hit about ninty and cutoff, it was cool, we pulled over checked eachothers cars out, had some words about chevys (and how the new camaro is fugly) and went on our way.
Oh, and while I was talking to this guy, about 20 or so ricers passed.....lol....

There is no "MDS" on the SRT8's 6.1 hemi. Only the 5.7's get mds.
nope, they do have mds, I stopped and talked with the guy for about 20minutes and he said that that was one of the two things he didn like about the car was the mds. Mybe he was wrong?
maybe hes a dumbass for thinking that and that his car can beat '03-'04 cobras.

They are pretty sweet cars. My roommate has a 300C SRT8 and its been 12.60s @ 110 stock. Not to mention it rides nice, handles and brakes like a beast as well.
I think he couldnt drive. he should have smoked you harder than that. When i was at 336whp I raced one and very slowly pulled on it. This was they crystler 300 version. They are very fast.
