Just wondering if anyone has had problems with their dash lights, specifically with the 99-04 models. When I got my '00 v6 last year (my first mustang) I had a lot of problems with the dash lights shorting out. I had to get the entire thing rewired at the dealer, then it went out again and was rewired at an electrical specialist. The specialist mentioned that he's seen quite a few 'stangs with the same problem.

So far it's been fine, been about 6 months since then... but I'm just curious if anyone else had similar issues.

I have had similar experiences with my Fox...but mine might have been just because of the Jimmy Rig the guy did with the alarm before i had it

Hmmm.

Well since it hasn't gone screwy lately, I'm assuming it's alright. The dealer mechanics wired it all wrong and that's why I had to have it redone by the specialist. He seemed to know what he was doing, so I'm hoping to not have anymore problems.
