Souveran will make the paint look dripping wet and deep. It is a good wax buck lacks durability. But if you apply it a lot you won't have to worry about durability. Poorboys Natty's blue combined with ClearKote Red Moose look about the same as Souveran in my opinion.

Which polish/cleaner did you get with the kit? Is it the actual Pinnacle line or the XMT series? I have not tried the XMT line yet but have heard great things about it. I do have some stuff that has no dusting and will remove scratches. I'm not telling you this to make money, I'm just being totally honest. I use my products in my detailing business also.

The Souveran wax is pretty awesome though if you don't mind the price. Like I said, there are other waxes that look pretty similar. Actually I bet you couldn't tell the difference. Pinnacle does have some good products.

The kit contains:

Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo
Pinnacle Souveran Wax
Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion
Pinnacle Crystal Mist Spray Wax
2 Cobra Indigo Edgeless Microfiber Polishing Cloths
1 Foam Wax Applicator Pad
1 Microfiber Applicator Pad

I was speaking of the paintwork cleansing lotion?

Will it give me the results I am after, by hand. If not what would work best for my purpose, I have lots of very slight scrathes, and 2 quarter sized spiders on the hood.

It will probably help with your scratches. The cleansing lotion is more of a paint cleaner. It is more like a chemical polish with no abbrasives.

ClearKote Vanilla Moose hand glaze gives great results by hand and adds an extra pop to the paint. It will help or remove the spiderwebbing. It is still really hard to do paint correction by hand but vanilla moose is probably your best bet.

I use Pinnacle Souveran and I love it. The durability is an issue for those who don't have a garage. My vert is garaged kept so it's not a problem. You know what you can do is use a sealant like Klasse, then top is it with Pinnacle.

Can I use the Souveran on top of Zaino? I am going to:

Dawn wash
Zaino or Pinnacle car wash
Pinnacle Paintwork Cleanser
Pinnacle Glaze
Pinnacle Souveran
Final detail mist in between.

You can use the Souveran on top of Zaino with no problem. There is no need to use the dawn dish soap. The Pinnacle paintwork cleanser will strip any sealant or wax that was previously on the car and get it ready for the next steps. The zaino would fit in between the glaze and the souveran. Just remember that you can put a wax over a sealant but you cant put a sealant over a wax because the sealant won't bond to it. Hope this helps.

Here I am responding to one of your threads again! lol

I wouldn't work the Zaino into the mix at all. Zaino works best when it is applied to a clean surface. You could apply a coat of Souveran as a topper or final step, but be sure to follow Zaino's step to that point. I'd just stick with the Pinnacle products as they are quite excellent.
