I have 95 GT that does NOT have the mach 460. I already have 2 10"'s in the trunk, and have replaced all 4 stock speakers with Infinity's. However, it's still missing something. I want to take the door tweeters from a Mach 460 car. (the ones just inside the mirrors) Has anyone ever done this? Is there anything special required other than maybe drilling some mounting holes? I've never taken a 460 apart, so I have zero idea how they even attach. I'm sure wiring isn't anything complicated, so I'm just worried about getting them mounted.
Also, where can I pick these up? I've looked all over ebay, but can only find tweeters, but without the triangle mounting case. Are there any salvage yards or used Mustang parts houses on the net that are reputable and take paypal or credit cards?

I dont know if id mess with converting. id just find a set of reallly nice after market tweeters and make a real clean mount somewher in the car. i think itd sound a lot nicer then the 460. i have it and its nice, but maybe some eclipse or whatever brand tweeters would sound a little better.

There are mustang bone yards all over. It shouldn't be to hard to install them. It's not like they used a special door for the 460 stereo so it should go on easily.
