Original seats out, Elite seats in - 10/18/2006 10:42:20 PM    Galactusz Posts: 890 Joined: 10/1/2006 Status: offline I'm basically restoring my stang and going with the stock look, but I saw these on another car in person and loved them. But since I got these modern seats and yet going with a mostly stock look, you think it was a bad idea? They are probably better in a restomod project, but I just said the hell with it, lets just go a tad restomod. BTW, I kept the originals and they are stored in my garage. Once you've decided to modify your mustang then you should really be open to explore as many boundaries as you can. I get a little romantical and think of my mustang as my work of art. It's every feature is designed to fit my ultimate masterpiece. I should warn you though. Some of those ground effects kits look a lot better in the magazine than on the car. I took all your advices, can't go back now, I have them installed already and they do look awesome, plus, it gives you an extra inch of headroom and they go back further for all you big and tall fellows, a much more comfortable ride with them, will keep my originals nice and safe in my garage though. The verdict on the sets? I drive Ol' yeller for hundreds of miles at a time with the stock seats and don't have any back problems. It's a waste of money and a time consuming job to modify them to fit a classic.
