I agree the stockers are adequately comfy. The only thing I don't like about low-backs is the safety. You get nailed from the rear and your neck and back will be very sore. I also don't like vinyl on hot summer days...nothing like getting out of your car and looking like you peed your pants.

You guys slay me with your aftermarket seats. I drive Ol' yeller for hundreds of miles at a time with the stock seats and don't have any back problems. It's a waste of money and a time consuming job to modify them to fit a classic. If you want a modern car, then buy a modern car.

Nope. They should look like they could have been original (or at least the interior should have a single theme...works in progress excepted).

I do agree that original seats are much better looking than aftermarket seats, but some can be made to look descent. Cloth seats definatley look out of place

Nope, couldn't disagree with you more, especially in the seat department.

These seats give you an extra inch of head clearance, the bases are much wider (by two inches), ideal for big guys such as myself, they tilt back, and have headrests to prevent wiplashes, the Elites are just a much more comfortable and safer seat than the originals, not even close.

So no, in my case, it was NOT a waste of money, it was a WISE choice.

Oh, no, I don't agree.

Classic cars are just that. Classic. They came with low backed seats, and they should remain low backed seats. They are not safe, and were not designed to be safe. They are classic. If you want a modern car, then buy a modern car and stop making freaks out of classic Mustangs.

Nope, sorry, no can do.

The Elites are staying, I love them.

But don't worry, the originals are stashed away in my garage, no biggie.

Soaring just remember every Mustang that gets bastardized makes an original classic worth that much more.

I love the low back seats. The interior is one of the best parts about a classic mustang.

You're interior looks 100% better compared to the before pics, imo. Not just because of the seats, but because of everything

Yeah, he has aftermarket everything in that interior. Most all of the conveniences of a modern car. It is now no longer a classic. It's a freak, and has no history.

But it does have its own personality and it definitely has its own, unique history instead of being like the other few thousand Stangs...

That's true, but what is it now? It is certainly not a Mustang.

HAHAHAHA I laughed out loud at that statement, just because it sounded like you were disowning him from your family. Anyway, I like it, it looks really clean and smoth.
