Well, I just bought an 86 SVO. And already looking to modify it. Im currently looking at a couple front mount intercooler designs.

But Im tryint to get some infomation on upgrading the fuel injectors in the car. I think it has the stock brown tops now.
(How much boost can be run on stock injectors?) The previous owner also gave me what he thinks is a set of 62 pound fuel injectors, with a wiring harness, and a Accel Calmap computer. He was too afraid to install it. Looks like a big project.

Are there other engine managment set ups out there that I should look into? try to figure out and use this calmap thing, and hook it up to a laptop? And install the wiring harness(Converts stock sensors over to GM Sensors)?

Im mostly looking to upgrade as So I can run higher boost. Right now it has the stock boost controller, and is running 15PSI.

Right now the car has a superchip installed. Also has a 155LPH fuel pump, and adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

Anyone running 25PSI of boost? (I know the engine should be able to handle it, engine has been allreworked, with a bigger cam, and ARP studs)

I run around 25 psi.. useing a eec tuner and 52 pound injectors..also removed the vane meter and using a Lightning 80 mm maf...
You should be able to boost 18 pounds with the stock injectors as longas they are in good shape... the level of electronics the SVO's have is a joke...Its a shame... I always wanted to use the 91ish 2.3 tempo harness and pcm to be able to run a maf...up until randy figured out to do the change via eec tuner...
