I just got a 1969 Musatng Grande, and it's a great car, in very good condition. It has a 302/c4/v8. It also has some mods, like a new Edelbrock carb. It also has a uni-body, custom wheels, wide. I havnt had it long enough to find out what all it has. What kind of hp would this car get, and what would be some guesses on times, for the 1/8 etc...

One of the reasons I wanted to know, is because I got in a fight with this kid at school about our cars. He drives a 2003 Tiburon. brand f-ing new(mommy and daddy must have some money). the kids like 16 years old. But he was talking s**t about how his is faster. It was kind of funny because this kid knows nothing about cars, and some how I knew that the tiburon was a 2.0L. DOHC 16 valve In-Line 4 cylinder, off the top of my head, (i think i read it somewear). And he was like well, its a GT. (It wasnt but if thats what helps him sleep at night), but even then I was like, O well then, how about a 2.7L 6 cylinder 170 hp DOHC enegin, that shut him up. Its funny that that gt is a v6, when a mustang gt is a v8.

( A horse can run a lot faster then a box of rice!)

um I think they do 0-60 in like 6.2 to 6.7 but here is the thing about the v8 if he puts money into his and youput the same into yours you will be alot faster than him!

I wanna see your car! upload some pics in the photo album at the top, or make a cardomain site I really wanna see it!

Ya sure thing, it has airshock's, which looks cool. charry bombs, with the v8, its really loud., it needs a new hood, but im going to get one, and put a hood scope on it., it needs some work here and there, buti got it for 3500$, so its not perfect. But i got a great deal, it worth like 12,000 about.

Besides that i think ur mustang could pull on him... good luck

How will we be able to guess if we don't even hve a clue what kind of mods the motor has done to it?

About the Huuundai: Some kid that graduated with me did the same thing, bought a 2003 Tiburon GT with his own cash. But the thing you gotta think about: Huuuuuuundai isn't even close to expensive, so he could have bought it himself...but he woulnd't be able to afford much else I would think.

The 03' tiburons start at $16,249, I dont think a 16 year old could buy that on his own.

Im not a hyundai fan by no means, but there aint no way that 69 302 could even come close to taking that Tiburon... sorry to break the news to you.  Save your money, get some better performance, then talk trash.

mdvaldosta...i dunno about the Tiburon winning. One of my friends has a 2003 Tiburon with the v6, and that thing is slow as He!!. My grand am is actually faster. He has to floor it to keep up with me when i'm driving normally in my stang. And i dont drive that hard(i dont even reach 2300 rpm's). Its not that bad of a car, well, he did pay 3 grand more than i did for my 2000 GT.

Overall, they suck, their slow, and they're Hyundais. There is a sticker on his window that says 89% made in Korea. Thats almost as bad as a Kia.

What in the world makes u think that go-kart has more power then my car?  So tell me why my car would lose? and try not to make a fool out of ur self.

It's not neccessarily whether or not it has more power. Power to weight ratio. Better pick up from fuel injection. All that crap. Having said that, I'd still go with the Mustang.

Just pointing out that he said nothing of power.

Hell at age 16 my buddy got shot in the leg in a hunting accident and was paid 75,000 for his pin and suffering. He went out a bought a brand new IROC Z-28 he had the coolest car in high school. Most of us had old mustangs vw beetles or mom and pops hand me downs. There where a few bad ass muscle cars
