Here's the story. There's this kid at my school with a 2000 Honda Civic EX with a v-tec(ooo im shaking). He just put about 8 grand into a body kit, new paint, new hood, wheels, tires, racing seats, new interior. But did nothing to the engine. Well, he did put a Cherry Bomb muffler in place of the stock one. So now it not only looks like crap, it sounds like it too. Well...he's been talking to everyone behind my back saying all kinds of crap about how he can blow me off the road and how my car is so slow. He hasnt said anything to me yet, but i think we're gonna have to end this in a race. He's been saying so much crap, people are starting to believe him. His car has a whole 127 hp, with mine being close to 300. His stock does 0-60 in 7.2-7.4 seconds. Mine is 5.3-5.4. I dont see how he thinks he has a chance. The last time he was at the track he ran a 16.1 second quarter-mile. Even if i really f#ck up, i still should be able to beat him.
I guess im just really pissed off about what hes been saying, just had to get it off my chest.
BCisme...Haha, yeah, the car definitely helps in that department. It's already helped get a couple dates that i couldnt get last year.
Another short story. Im in one of his classes and before i got into class today, someone had written "I love the smell of burnt rice" on the chalkboard, along-side, "Civics Suck". The teacher didnt appreciate it much but seeing his face when he read it gave me the best laugh i have had in a long time. He looked at it, looked to the floor, and went to his seat. I'm not sure who wrote it, but i salute them.
Like Spkr_diy said, it is an opportunity. Tell him you'll race him for some money. Dont set the price too high as it might scare him off. And your right, you could really F up and still beat him, hell you could start in second if you really wanted too! Have fun, but be safe.

i love that sig redline.. hell spot the civic 2 cars, snatch him up in second, then tap your brakes the rest of the way..everyone there will know that the race was a joke and hell you even rode the brakes and he still couldn't catch you..
Haha, that sig is Great! Yeah, i think i'll give him a little lead, then just ride on by. The brake thing is a good idea. Im gonna see how $50 sounds to him tomorrow. Ill let you know what happens.

blue stang.........dude, planning is the best.....here's how you do it.
dont say ANYTHING to ANYONE about your stang, dont brag, dont talk about what you have...nothing, etc....just let him do ALL the talking and BSing he wants, the more he talks the more he CANNOT back out, then hopefully in one of those times where he is talking (about whatever) make sure he's in a big group.....calmly say......"Hey, I've heard that you wanted to race me with your Honda....is that true? Do you actually think you can take my mustang?? How about betting some $$...I need $$ for books" --- at that point he'll either have to back down IN FRONT of all his friends or he'll accept your challenge IN FRONT of all his friends where you just KNOW his friends will want to go to the track and see it happen and when he gets beaten all that talk will become either hushed or he'll find some 1000 excuses about not winning or attending (if he backed out)....in other words....it's like a good chess move where whatever he does he loses a valuable piece (in this case his pride).
...one more thing.....don't BS at the track, when that light turns green, go for it, no mickeying around......take as much a lead as you can.....when it's all over, don't brag, don't make noise, don't even wise-ass smile......if anything just maybe a little raised eyebrow.....let him suffer to the max in your silence and come out looking like the coolest guy in town.....non-chalant!
.....I've tried it ALL different ways before....and trust me, that's the best.
I thought about putting decals on him what do you think? Greddy ect. Can I get into trouble for using a copy righted name/sticker?
Make it look like a greddy sticker, but spell it a little differently or something. Like how grocery stores have Tastie-O's and so on.
But then again... make it so people know you changed it on purpose.... it's gonna be tough and take some imagination.
Cruddy for Greddy
EiSuck for Eibach
PoundMyHole for GroundControl
Epoxi for Apexi
Roni as in rice-a-roni for koni
