Default winter sux, open diffs blow

Its either winter tire( ooooo fun ) or some sort of l.s.d. I know there has been alot of talk about the subject, but i got some key questions. When intalling a new diff., do you need new gears as well? If i get new gears and want something taller, do i NEED a tuner to correct the speedo?? And where is the cheapest place to get a genuine ford t-lok & gears. Thanks guy's, ure help is apreciated.

lsd will make control worse in the snow, because both tires will be out of control.

And how much driving in snow do you do??? LOL!!

I have NEVER had a problem with LSD in snow... NEVER!

BTW... I really like Bridgestone Blizzaks for snow tires... I had a 2002 GT (which of course had a t-lok), traction control and a set of Blizzaks... I went throug couple of very hard Michigan winters with out any problems what so ever! I was driving around with a 8 to 10 inches of snow on the road!

Buy a 500 dollar car and drive that. why risk getting hit by some jerk off and totaling all the hard work in your cars? mine in the garage as soon as first salt hits the road.

lol john, not very much obviously :P
but ive driven oneleggers, rear posi, and 4wd cars in the snow befoe.

rwd posi would be my last choice in the snow thats for sure.

it was lots of fun in an empty parkin lot, but on the road it got scary sometimes

About the winter though I would do what dude said get like a little accord or something for $500 when salt and snow come. I have no experience in the snow what so ever! lol scary!! lol

LSD will make it harder to control, but easier to dig yourself out when you are unstuck, detroit true trac FTW! you dont need gears but its easiest to do them while you are down there
