I'm ready to order the new 3.73 gears, but keep running into comments that Motive gears whine more than Ford Racing gears. FR's cost $50 more, but are they worth it? Give me your thoughts, or experiences before I lay the money down. Thanks!

The genuine Ford gears are definatley less likely to whine. Whine is very annoying, consider that $50 well spent.
You need to be careful though. Some FRPP gears are just Motive gears repackaged for Ford. Look at the part number of the FRPP gears you are wanting to buy. If the last digit is an "M", then they are made by Motive for Ford. Avoid these if at all possible.

I'm not really sure based updon experience but I have heard that ford racing parts are more of a kind of one size fits all brand. Not positive though.
