Ok so I have a black 07 pony vert and thinking about gold stripes ala this one:

ANy inputs sincerely appreciated I'm worried because it seems so irreversible and might look like too much of a poser projecting power that's not there yet but if it kicks ass I would think it would be nice. What do yu think?

It would look nice...retro. Im putting 12' yellow stripes on my pony package coupe next week. My new hood and stripes should be coming in next week.

I think it would look great. I considered going with gold, but decided to stay with white. You can order vinyl stripes from Baltimore Street Mods -- easy to install, and if you decide you didn't like the look or wanted to change to a different color the vinyl can be stripped off.

You can also go to http://www.spectrummarcom.com/mustan...pepainter.html and try different colors. Unfortunately they don't have a convertible, and I never found a site with a convertible to see what it would look like.

Also, my picture below doesn't have the stripe over the windshield or the front bumper -- I added the windshield, and am trying to decide on whether to leave the front bumper black.

Ya it should look good. As long as its not painted on then you wont ruin anything if you decide to take them off later.

If you go to www.blackmustangclub.com and look up Blazen, he has a black coupe with the gold stripe you are looking for. Looks really good on his car, and his stripes are from Baltimore Street Mods and were self installed.
