MT-5 Speed V6 Stang Vs AT-5 speed inline 4 Celica GT-S??? This dude at work keeps talkin Dish about the v6's How 55% of the owners are female and how he could smoke me with a 4 banger! Theres no way dude!!! OR is there??? I have no mods..the car is so new I don't even have plates! I'm a little old to be picking fights or letting stupid people get to me but Damn it! I want to blow the doors of this SOB!!! Any suggestions????

well... The Celica is listed at 15.6 in the 1/4... while your's is listed as 15.3... So it could be close...

Sweet! Oh sorry, it does come as an option and I remember him saying he can't drive stick, I was wrong though it's a 6 speed AT...
This guy is such a TOOL! and deserves to get smoked! I'm so sick of the 55% female driver comments!

I should have him as long as I don't do something stupid like miss 3rd gear then huh? Thanks for the info ...BTW nice Stage by stage website! The Mistress is lookin H*O*T*! I'm still thinkin MRT Aero for my first mod....not to sure though.

LOL!

yeah my name says it all! NewbIe! I'm pretty green to all of this! My last car was a Ford Focus ZX3 5 speed MT, not one mod...didn't really care about cars that much but since I bought the stang and hopped on this website I've been gettin the bug bad...a lot of peeps say I shouldn't do anything to it cuz it only a v6 but damn I've seen some v6ers on here that are crazy!!!

And that's the manual GT-S, the auto one <yes there is one> is mid-high 16's, just look on newcelica.org. The auto GT-S is the stupidest thing ever, you take a high, small powerband car and mate it with a 4sp auto that drops waaaaaaaay out of the powerband <or lift> on each shift, no idea what Toyota was thinking.

15.3 for an auto. A stick won't be alot faster stock, but it will be a bit faster.

this is one of those import kids that probably won't show you what's under the hood (cause all he's got, if anything is a cone filter and a cruddy exhaust). Odds are in your favor.

Dude just study the celica for a little while, then go in there and ask him a bunch of questions about it in front of everyone then bust his ass with your knowledge! That will hurt him a lot more than street racing. People can't stand it when you make them look stupid, especially when it's about there on car.

That's funny how he comments about your "girly" V6. I don't want to knock down Celica's(I'm a Celica fan) but he drives an AUTOMATIC celica, I repeat AUTOMATIC. Most people I see who drive automatic Celica's are women.

I thought the Celica GT-S's were faster than mid 15's but I checked everywhere and its right.

Dude, I'm gonna race him anyway. I've heard enough...I'm also going to rip on him about his car knowledge too! I don't know a lot but at least I'm not ignorant enough to go around talking like I know everything...he said he has a 6 speed AT!!! he also has a huge rice cooker in the back! sounds like Sh** though... This will be my first race EVER! well one that I acctually have to see the douche bag the next day! I'll let you ALL know how it goes...

The muffler is great for noise that you wish to have, but performance wise you really won't see anything.

The biggest bang for the buck with easiest installation requirements would be a new tune for your Mustang. An SCT xcal2 tuner will remove your throttle lag and give your pony a great response from a dig.

As for racing the guy, what track did he suggest to race you at?

The SCT X-Cal2 seems to be the most popular tuner out there! everyone on here is an advicate for the mod! Question: once I get that tuner will I be able to tune any add ons I buy like CAI or exhaust? I'm pretty sure you need to retune the car after every mod but not to sure what retuning is? I'm so green to all of this!

As for the race there is a strip behind our building that is long enough... that's where I opened her up for the first time...if it doesn't rain it's on after work! He's already been making excuses like he knows I'm going to smoke him, like ..."If I had MT there wouldn't even be a point in racing" ...he's so going to get smoked!! I asked him today in front of our HOT receptionist how his fantasy "6 speed AT" was running! and told him when you wake up and realize there is only 4 speeds you'll be wishing you had my "Girly v6" BI-Atch!!

I need to control myself...this mustang is turning me into a monster!!!
