ok fellows i been in bed layed up , man it hurt worst a couple of days later , i didnt even fell hurt when it happened or the day later , but the next day.dam, im still hurting but not as bad now,,,now for all of you'll saying a was speeding , you didnt read my post all the way though...i went around a right hand curve,i was in second ..going 20mph ,,like i told you b4! when i shifted to 3rd gear. i was like at 30 mph.I NEVER SAID I REDLINED THEM THOUGH THE GEARS!im 41 years old. and i very good driver , and driving record. when i got in 3rd at 30 mph a stomped the gas to see how much boost a had ,after i took off my 6 lb lower pulley. you dont have to be redlining to get your boost..> if you dont beliver me than get in your 03/04 cobra go 30mph in 3rd stomp it for a second you will see you needle move , thats all i did. this was my first wreak i started drivng at 15 back in 80 .will needless to say i did have time to look at the gauge at said 13.then it just started going faster thaen once it got more rpms it started spinning the tires,i think i do a very good job considering the damage that could have happened like hit someone or go into a house..i was trying like hell to straight her out, but every time corrected the car it still wouldnt stright out. if it would have straight out , and the middle of the rode, i could have possibly took on hand off the wheel it try and turn the key off..you cant do that going thought people yards when you got to steer to correct. man once your as end end get in front of your car it take lots of back in forth to straight it out..
you know if you hit the gas in neutral in the garage the boost gauge goes up to. you could have checked your boost out with out even driving.

That sucks you wrecked your car man, but I gotta agree with Blown why did you pin it in a residential? I'm 22 like him and even I know better than that. Not trying to pour salt on an open wound or anything. I usually save my test drives for the freeway.

Free, I recall reading early in the thread that you stated the car was a rebuilt title right? If so, man you can really forget about get any help from Ford. Once that VIN is ran all bets are off. I don't think there is much they would have done in the first place, but with a Rebuilt they are defiently going to have no parts of your issue. I think your best bet would be to part the car out, unless you are really good at rebuilding or have the cash to pay someone to do it. Not sure if it's even worth it with the chassie damage and all. Sucks man. I'm sure you will find your way into another Cobra eventually. Hold you head and be greatful all you took out was some bushes and a hydrant.
