I now have 715 miles on my '06 S281 3V coupe, which sat on the dealer's lot, for about 10 months, before I bought it.
It has the standard 20" chrome wheels and tires.
The tires are set at 36 PSI and they were rotated front to rear ( unidirectional ) at 500 miles and the lugs were torqued to 95 ft/lbs.
The car tracks straight; but, there is medium vibration, in the steering wheel, at 50+ mph.
Is this the norm?
TIA.

sounds like the balance may be out on one wheel in front, or possibly steering alignment.

My car had a small vibration like you describe this spring when I took it out of storage. I took the wheels off and took them to my local tire place to balance them and they said they were perfect. They recommended new rotors as they thougt the mounting surface of the rotor could be bad. I did not do this, just decided to live with it. Well, I drove the car 1000 miles this summer and the vibration is gone so it is apparently a mild flat spotting or something similar as a result of sitting.

My advice, drive the vibration away and enjoy
