I just dug out of my engine!! Bet my motors junk because I didn't realize this happened until I pulled in my driveway. Twisted off the oil pump drive, she was making quite a noise. If you ever hear a humming sound coming from under your car that you never heard before this could be it. Had to put a good one next to it for the guys that may not have seen one. Guess it's time for a 331 or 347.
your oil pump did that, I would of stopped the car as soon as i noticed the pressure dop and had it towed home. Replace your rod bearings and oil pump.

[:@]Damn, see why i tell everyone that part of your 'first tune up' is to replace that accident waiting to happen with an ARP pump shaft? Those things are inedaquate for even a totally stock Mustang, let alone a damn modified screamer. They twist like a pretzel. ^^^ As you can see.
