Just wanted to say Hi, I have a 99 Cobra running 470rwhp/415rwtq with 9psi from a Vortech SQ on a new 01 Block.. well was new 5k miles ago :)
I pulled the IRS out and replaced it with a built 8.8 with Moser Axles, Eaton Posi, 4.30 gears, ARP 3 inch extended studs, PRPP Dif cover, MM TQ Arm and panhard bar, H&R SS springs, tokico drag adjustable strusts and shocks, MM HD adjustable lower Drag control arms, MM full length sub frames.

I also added the 03 Cobra front bumper because I fabbed the 03/04 Cobra LFP heat exchanger to work with the Vortech, 03 side skirts, 01 rear bumper, s-281 wing..

sup dude ? i only got 490 rwhp but i got 576rwtq at 3500 rpms. my times sucked cause i cant hook it , i ran a 12.85/114 hopping down the track.

Thanks everyone, yea I know hoe those twin screws give out crazy numbers but I ma drag racing junky so I went with the Vortech.. Plus it’s hard to say no to a sponsorship :)

The engine is stock internals, haven’t had a single prob yet, Pick her up Monday or Tuesday, plan on getting my mid 11 second time slip Wed night so I had a Aluminum 3 core radiator put in with a 180 thermostat.

The last time I took it to the track I ran a 12.4 at 114 mph with a reaction time of .060, but that was with the IRS, 373 gears, 6 psi and a crappy tune. As you can a lot has changed since them so I should be getting kicked off the track soon and putting my 6 point back in :D

Eevryone loves those wheels but they are damn expensive lol but well worth it.
