seemed like the cobra missed a gear in the second run, and it looked like the only reason he even caught him in the first one is because he lifted. pretty fast little car.
says in the video the shelby and the terminator had about the same hp. goes to show how bad that extra 500lbs is hurting the gt500. still a beautiful car though.

and yes, the terminator lifted the first race, you can see the tail lights and it looked like he missed a gear or didn't get all the way in it in the second race.
1200Lbs between the Shelby and the SRT make quite a difference!!!! Coming from a former very fast SRT owner, they are neat little projects. Very finicky, and usually something wrong with them, but once you get them "in the zone" they are some real street warriors. With his DBB 50 trim, if he had all the supporting mods@22psi, he was probably around 430HP, plus the weight advantage, plus the roll, the results didn't suprise me much.
From a dig, the SRT wouldn't have even been in the same zip code, but to call 40 rolls "ricer" is weak, it's the direction the whole street racing world is moving towards. The good thing is it takes out all the Evo's and STI's, as from a roll, they don't do so well.
but evos and sti's are fast because they hook so damn good.... when you drag at the track u race from a stop, where most people judge how quick a car is

Are you telling me that more people race @ the track than on the street?? Methinks not. Hell, even in MM&FF last month they said that roll racing is the way of the future.
It's funny what money can do!!! I ran into an SRT4 that destroyed me from a dig. My car is stock and afterwards I found out the guy has around 475hp to the wheels and suspension mods to the sky.....If you got da money, any car can be fast!
on the terminator he only cought up cuz the cobra stopped, look @ the break lights and "round 2" was him finishing the fly by after the cobra stopped. but i think the whole thing is chopped anyhow JMO
i thinkk the 4 banger had many mods and NOS ... u cold see that when they stopped and started from a slow roll the gt500 flew away untill the srt could get in higher gears for NOS ...

Being a former SRT owner I would say that he was either a 50 trim or 60 trim turbo car. In other words, once it gets up in the RPM's thats when the real power come on. He could be anywhere between 350-500 HP depending on tune and at 2800lbs., thats pretty stout. Even though I onwed one, I always hated racing from a roll. The only thing good about roll racing is its a better comparison of HP to HP when 2 cars are racing. It takes all the skill out of launching. From a stop a much slower car could put a whooping on a faster car due to being a better driver, but from a roll its easier to compare HP (as long as no missed shifts lol). I think the Cobra whacked the SRT also .....
Can yall pleas stop crying? A roll is rice? How many vids do you see were they from 0-115? you cant say i cars not fast when it is going frfom a punch and beats them. If the fords would of won yall would be like damn thats some fast mustangs, instead of they should have gone from 0. Admit it, the srt4 is fast. and its a fraction of the price of both those cars.

Take it from someone who's SRT put over 500HP to the wheels, it takes some good money to make a high HP SRT that lasts. I had, including car price, about $40K into my SRT. Now, it would have dominated the SRT in this video, but to say that SRT's are cheap compared to Stangs is a wrong statement.

says 50 trim in the video
and no, the srt4 was not spraying, its had one of those turbo things(i think the kids are calling them these days, hahah). he just took off once he got into his high power band.
