I just bought a set of GT Bullitt takeoffs on Ebay. I'm trying to decide which brand tire to buy. The last several sets of tires I have bought for my other vehicles have been Michelin. They wear like iron. But will they give me the best handling for my Mustang? If not, which tire will do the best?
Ive had a really good experience with goodyears f1 tires, insane amounts of grip in the dry, but only crazy amounts of grip in the rain. Their sidewall overhangs the wheel lip to help protect ure new investment. Stock tire size is 235/55/17
When I need new tires ... I might try the Firestone Wide Ovals ... that would be seriously retro ... If Firestone did not have such a bad rep with Ford I bet the S197's would have Firestone Wide Ovals on them ...

Will do. It may be a couple of weeks, because I'm going out of town tomorrow for about 10 days. But I'll post some pics when I get the tires mounted and installed.
Thanks everybody.
