I have a 2002 Saleen SC, that Ford just purchased back under the lemon law.  (Engine Problems) I am considering buying a 2003.  Has anyone had any problems, or do they all suck?  Maybe I really did just have a lemon?  If I don't buy a Saleen, I was considering a Cobra...what's better???

Theres a ton of cobras out there be unique get another saleen. Roush mustangs are also nice especially the california special. Even though they arent as quick i still love the s281, but id love to get an s281E. For overall driving and handling and years of experience as a manufacturer id go with saleen.

I guess you are stupid. If you spent more time reading(nevermind you cant) and staying informed instaed of whining to me you would know that carrol shelby is helping with the 2005 mustang. Your so young though you problably have no idea who carrol shelby is.

STFU f**kwad i know exactly who he is.  besides, only thing age means to me is that im expected to live longer than you so thats not phasing me.  in fact i might use it as an excuse if i dont know something, but really, what kind of idiot doesnt know who he is?  and really pr**k, you need to quit dwelling on the same points if you're going to get on someones nerves, some variety is generally necessary if the intent is to lower the self esteem...more wrong with you is more to be sad about.

You obviously had no idea of his involvement with ford on the 2005 mustang project, but were quick to say something smartass. If you have no idea what your talking about........shhhhhhhhhh dont say anything.  Man sounds like your getting desparate and frustrated.lol

Things happen, it was probably a Friday evening around 5:00 when someone was building the motor for it.  The cobra is definately a nice car, but a saleen is just oh so unique.  The roush stangs look oh soo good too, but are overpriced for what you get.  Really its all about what you want.  If money wasn't the option and you didn't mind modifying a collector's car, then I would get the saleen.

I think it's important to keep your eyes open and look for good deals on Saleens and Roush's across the country. Being a little flexible on brand, good deals are out there! Back in oct of 01, when all the 9-11 fallout was on in full force, i got a great deal on a S281 N|A. I paid almost 7k less than sticker. I recently purchased a 02 S281E (beryllium clearcoat) with 500 mi for 22k below sticker. Car is perfect with 7 months of bumper to bumper left on it. By the way, this car is quite impressive. The series v screw blower is increadible. After driving an 03 Cobra, the S281E seems to be stouter on the powerband and definitely quicker
