30g's and it doesn't come with a cd player? what's up with that?
So what would you say ate up the most of your mullah: paint/body, interior, or engine/drivetrain?

I'm lovin' the exterior of that thing.Could definitely benefit from being lowered on all 4 corners, but the black paint with just the right amount of chrome (and polished TT II's) are hot!

lol as for the CD player im installing a whole system ASAP, il give the details on that if anyone wants to know

and it used to be lower but ever bump in the road and it would scrape the back tires! so i had to raise it a tad.

for what cost the most.... hm. gonna have to say engine/drivetrain. glad u like it!

What is your suspension setup like? That sucks you had to raise it back up.

Anything done to the engine, or is it a stock transplant from the 93 5.0?

Im not exactly sure wut the guy before me did with it (he put a whole bunch of money into the car and then just deserted it i have no idea y lol, found it being towed). anyways ya its not stock... i dont know enough about the engine though to tell u wuts been changed on it though, sorry. for my suspension - for some reason i cant remember the brand but its the "racing suspension" model, and im using air shocks. that helped me clear my rear tires.

edit- for the engine i know we got new headers/new intake/and il try to remember some more stuff

You have obviously spent a lot of time, energy, and money on that car. If I may criticize a bit though, and I assume you are expecting accolades as well as constructive criticism, since you no longer have any badges on it, why did you keep the 1965 chrome rear quarter scoop? It appears you took off the drip rail chrome, but not the drip rail. You have a snake gas filler cap, but your car is no where near the looks of a Cobra. You have a hole in your dash where the original radio goes. What gives with that unfinished touch? Just a few observations. Other than that, it's a pretty good looking restomod. I see you have used photoshop to block out your license plate, but the California plate is still identifiable.

:) i was gonna PS all the photos but thatd take to long lol

first of all i definetly wanted criticism too thanks!.

this car is unfinished, i have emblems (badges) in my garage, i have the 302 logo on it now, but im liking the clean look over the badges. the drip rail chrome i still need to order. wuts wrong with keeping the chrome rear quarter scoop? i only have the left one at the moment lol (they sent me two leftys). Gas cap issue- my dad bought it, and cobra valve covers. i hate having it on my car cus just like u said my car is no where near a cobra. so when i get the money im gonna sell that and buy a different gas cap. for the hole in my dash where the radio goes. im waiting on money to put in a stereo system to my car. that whole will be adjusted to fit an alpine cda-9587 head unit. il be doing diaond component speakers in the kick panels, then some on the back above the rear bench. in the trunk there will be 2 subs and an amp, next to my optima battery. i also have installed a high tech security system. but yes as u can see the car isnt done yet. i just wanted it done so i could drive it already! haha. thanks for the comments!

You could plug that radio hole with an original AM radio, whether it works or not. We have all kinds of guys on here with stereo systems that are located at various spots, but not in the original radio hole. Some have even used the original AM radio and used various electronic devices to go from it to powerful amps, etc., so that when you turn on the AM radio, you get this big powerful sound, and everybody goes......WOW! You have a really good start for a clean looking restomod, and I know whenever you get her finished you are going to be very proud of it. Keep us posted.

thank u very much. the guy who sold me the car actually works for the best sound place in town. i know my other options (under dash, in glove box (actually cant do that cus i put in AC), in a center console etc etc) but im not looking for the classic AM radio look. i want the new modern alpine custom fitted in my dash. i know il have to slightly alter that whole (some cutting etc) but for me its well worth it. i know some people who love it just original would cringe now lol, but this is wut i like.

and y did u ask y i kept the rear quarter chrome scoop? just wondering

thanks for all the feedback!

Hey man, even if the car is not a cobra or anything of the sort, dont worry about the gas cap. It is a restomod. It is not a car built from Ford anymore... It is built by you and Ford now and you can put whatever you want on it.... Nice work. The paint looks good. The seats look well done. All around nice car. The only thing i would say is to get a repro stereo and remote mount that new stereo in the glove box... and be careful on what you choose to cut out of the car to put in aftermarket stereo equipment. A nice restomod to me is a car that can be taken back if someone wanted to... without spending thousands of dollars to do it. Keeps more of them around. That dash panel is not something which is going to be replaced easily.

Nice project!!! Now get cracken on those unfinished details...
