Default A tale of 2 convertibles

OK it looks like I need to change my sig somewhat as we have a new addition to the Mustang family but I have no more characters. Hmm guess our GT will be as much a sleeper on the forum as it is on the road.
Someone asked me to show a pic of all three but the '67 GTA only has insurance if it were damaged while being stored for the winter. Not worth the posibility of losing everything we have worked years for just for a picture (sorry!)
Anyway the Black Mustang will have the same 20's rims with BFG KDWII 255/35 front and 285/30 rear. Already have the Eibach Pro spring kit ready to install. We'll also add the Tokico Dtech struts. (btw anyone know if the struts I took off our GT will be any improvement (sportier) over the stock V6 struts IF I were to use them w/ the Eibachs?) I also plan to add all the suspension upgrades to the Black Mustang that the Yellow Mustang already has. I know by next summer th V6 mustang will be sporting forced induction of some sort. It's too funny that the wife complained it didn't have enough power! I didn't think I would have ever heard that from her! Guess I should have NEVER let her drive the supercharged GT. I truelly like the sleeper attitude so the black V6 will need somewhere around 330-350 HP just so someone with a "GT" be rudely awaken by the little brother V6! Especially if that GT has a CAI and a tune and still gets beat by th V6. Too funny! BUT all of us think the V6 needs fog lights, now I'm torn between the '06 pony package grill and a new GT style grill and bumper cover. I'm sure I'll still be call a poser if I make it appear as a GT but if it's got more HP the a stock GT who cares? The idea that everyone knows it's a V6 w/ the pony package grill is very attractive to me.

Don't let the snow on the Mt. make you think these ponys are going to be put away. (the yellow mustang has just over 20,000 miles (literaly just turned today) and it's not quite a year old!)

I think it would be cool to leave the V6 bumpers and stuff alone and just add the pony package grill, that way you have the best of both worlds a Gt and a V6 both with superchargers and killer suspensions.

Thanks Justin!
Well I think I want to go different routes with each car.
IF, I had the money today, after getting forced induction into the V6. I would like to add the Saleen S/C body kit to the Yellow Mustang (S/C hood, rear wing in addition to the regular body kit), and Roush body kit to the Black Mustang. The Cervini body kit is right up there too. But since the GT is sportin th Saleen S/C and a few other mods if I do change the look it should be to look as a Saleen S/C. Talked to my wife, drove by showed her the Saleen S/C (that the dealer wants $65K and isn't budging and it's an 06) Then showed her pics of the Roush. She likes both as do I so we'll see how the winter goes. Up until this point I was planning this winter to upgrade my 4.6 internals (crank, pistons, rods) as I'm right at their limit as is. A body kit sure would be nice and purdy! But it'd suck to have a wounded engine sitting a nice looking car. One thing for sure out of respect for owners that have these real cars somewhere on them will be the word 'clone'. On the other hand having a sleepy little car sure is fun to surprize people with. I assume all that will go away if these good looking body kits were installed. 05SDI

That would look sick, a Saleen and a Roush Stang! I say go for it! But I wouldnt want people thinking your wifes was a Roush and than beating her and thinking she has a 8 with the roush charger so I would put v6 somewhere.
