Default motorcraft plugs vs. motorcraft platinum plugs

Whats the difference between the two besides one being platinum and one not. Any advantages to using the platinum? Or is it all just a gimmick? What has worked out well for you?

Difference is better spark with platinums, and longer lasting plugs with the platinums as well.
Personally for the longest lasting and best spark, I'd go with iridiums for your modded stang, but if your just looking for a little boost come changing time, go with some motorcraft or bosch platinums, with only one node, don't go for the bosch platinum 2 or 4, it doesn't do anything else.

Agreed. Platinum is for durability.

biggest and most obvious difference is the price between the two of them! LOL
Seriously, the plats should last longer as the plat electrodes don't burn up as rapidly as the standard ones tend to do and the plug gap is the same for both.

My point exactly that I tried to make a couple of months ago! That's what I'm running right now, reg Motorcrafts. I don't put a bazillion miles on it every day or year for that matter, so longevity isn't needed.
