i gotta say this.... when im out crusing in my stang, i always aknowledge other stang drivers, but they continue on as if nothing happened. when im out cruising in my corvette, every other vette i pass waves or does somthing. there is a very strong sense or unity. point being to rememeber that no matter who is driving whatever kind of mustang, they are are our brothers and sisters. there is alot of crap going on around of late. just take it easy guys. thats all i have to say, sorry if i kinda preached at anyone, not my intention too.

Not sure where your from but here in PA I normally get a wave or a what's up when I'm in my Mustang.
If I have time I'll always stop and talk or answer questions about my car.
What year is your car?

I think the Vette community in general is more closely knit. Maybe because the Mustang community is so huge. When I had my 2003 Cobra I rarely had another Mustang owner wave, let alone another Cobra owner. I've heard many cases where a Cobra owner won't acknowledge a non-Cobra Mustang owner. Maybe in the same way I've noticed Z-06 owners don't acknowledge regular Vette owners often. At least around here. Usually a pride thing. You know, mine is bigger than yours. LOL!

Unity is just not there when you cruise around. The only place I felt great was on a mustang auto show I went to a couple of weeks ago..it was like walking into a different world...

Kinda weird huh. I always got waves when I had my WRX and when driving the Corvette. I think that other cars like that are primarily owned by car enthusiasts, where there are tons of secretaries (pardon the old school stereotype, but Shelby was right) and other non enthusiasts who buy Mustangs for the looks or the name and don't really know/care much about the car hobby. It's all about the demographics.

I dunno if this is just BS or what, but supposedly Firebird owners have their own special wave, and the guy who told me this said that Mustang owners do as well, although he isn't sure what it is, and it has died down over the years significantly. I was just wondering if this was true. I also agree with what was posted. It doesn't aggrivate me, I just kind of understand those people just consider their Mustangs as just a car. Which is sad, to me, it is much more than that. A mustang has personality.
