Hey, how's it going? My name's Kim (I'm male so no one hit on me... lol) and I live in Atlanta GA.

I would tell y'all about my ride but... I don't have one yet. I've been looking around on the net for the last couple of days trying to find the Mustang I want but I haven't had much luck yet. What I would love to get is a convertible Roush Stage 2, black top, gunmetal grey/silver exterior. Another option I considered was purchasing a regular convertible GT and adding the Roush mods myself, which might be more fun.

I was hoping someone here could point me in the right direction, either by letting me know about one that's being sold or a good site to go to where I can search for one myself.

Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. This seems like a pretty cool forum!

That won't stop them Kim. ha ha ha ha Welcome and good luck in your hunt. Personally, I am a huge NASCAR fan and anything Roush gets my vote.

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

OK, I take my statement back... any women on the forum can feel free to hit on me as much as they like... LOL.

I decided that I'm just going to go with a convertible GT for now and add a Roush kit myself. It'll be more fun that way. Still looking for a car though, wish me luck. And thanks for the Autotrader suggestion bacon!

Welcome, for the Roush it will alot cheaper by getting a Roush than making a Roush.

Duffs, that's what I ended up figuring out after doing more research. Adding the mods myself was going to be too expensive. Would have been fun though :(

Good news, I found a vert GT with a Roush Stage 3 body kit on it. Woohoo! Should be mine soon once financing is finalized :) I'll post pics once I get it.

It's a 2000, black exterior/gray interior. No engine mods except for a CAI and filters.

If it's not a true Roush, just a GT conv. with a Roush body kit (like you said) it shouldn't be more than $15,500.

I found a GT for $14,000 but it had been totalled and rebuilt. The other GT's I found were at least $15,500. I checked Autotrader and several other sites.

Crud. I guess I didn't look hard enough. It seemed like a good price.

you might want to check out www.stangparts.com they're in winder, ga and are a big mail order salvage place that specializes in Mustangs and they recently started to sell used ones too. it might be close to Atlanta, don't know?
