How is a Lingenfelter Twin Turbo Corvette CHEVY'S top of the line car??? The GT is a FORD production vehicle if you're trying to compare apples to apples.
alright, lets not go too much farther with this rediculous argument. 1) that vette is definitely not chevy production, the gt is. 2) comparing stock stangs to stock vettes is just dumb. do you not yet see that the mustang costs HALF AS MUCH as a vette!?! for the price, the vette had better be faster than the stock mustang. oh one more thing, the '03 cobra will destroy a standard vetter, and its STILL cheaper. the end.

And I've got both cars and owners right here to prove it. On videos that we can't get on the computer yet unfortunately. But, we can't redo any of this, since now the Vette has an ATI and some other goodies and the Cobra has a pulley and chip, so, oh well. So, no redos.

You must be HIGH... we have 4 03 Cobras that i have seen run at our local track. 2 are modded and 2 are stock. the 2 stock ones I have run against with my K&N filtered, 2.73:1 rear end 02 Z28 and I am .2 sec behind them. Stock exh, stock programming, stock tires, and as I mentioned before, the ungodly high geared rears. They consistantly run 8.6's, I run 8.8's with an A4 tranny. One of these 2 guys happens to like to run a stock Cobra and sees no real need to modify. I'm sure in the 1/4 the "forced induction" would start to pull a little more having more distance to build boost and power, but the Cobra is not all that. IT"S SUPERCAHRGED!!! OF COURSE it's gonna haul a$$. But a Cobra w/o mods would be owned by a Z06.

The vette I spoke of above ran an 8.6 with street tires, vara ram air, and slp loudmouth exhaust, nothing else and that was his FIRST run, didn't warm his tires much, got a lot of spin and a ****ty launch, and ran 8.6, so THERE ha! Fast4Door and I prove our points!

OH, And one of the modded cobras, pullied, exh, chip etc...ran 8.14 3 times in a row. granted, I congradulated him on such consistant runs, but he was whooped on by a 99 Camaro SS with just a 125 shot and and air lid and flowmaster catback. Then the other guy, Well, he was damn fast, 7.4's. And they were some awesome runs. But no match for the guy in the 2k vette with the 427 (stroked 6L) that ran 7.2's off the bottle. Hhehehehe the battle continues.
Im so sick of reading about VETTES!!! WHO GIVES A FU*K?!?! We dont drive them... we're not on their site so who gives a FU*K?!?! Jeasus Fu*king Christ people!!!!
